Kampala, the capital city of Uganda is located in the central region on the shores of Lake Victoria. The city has many attractions, destinations and tourists activities ranging from events to prime time venues and hotels, that’s why it’s referred to as the East Africa’s happiest city.

The city gets its name From Impala (Aepyceros melampus) a medium-sized African antelope that used to roam the jungles where Kampala seats today. Travel to Uganda

There are several International flights to and from Entebbe Airport- Uganda.

En Hakkore Consults will be happy to provide a range of possible routes and flight schedules for your selection of the most convenient itinerary from your departure airport. However a delegate may also directly coordinate with their own travel agent for the same. The delegate will kindly be requested to share their itinerary to enable us plan the airport pickups. Visa Arrangements

Delegates from all countries except Somalia may obtain Visa for Uganda on arrival or apply for issuance of an electronic visa at a fee of $50.

Medical & Vaccinations

All travelers to Uganda are required to have a valid Yellow Fever immunization card at least (10- 30days) prior to your arrival in Uganda.

Public transport around Kampala

Kampala offers various means of public transport systems to help you get around the city. Public transport ranges from; public bus, passenger taxi, private hire cars, motorbike (boda-boda) and more conveniently Uber.

Ugandan Currency

The Uganda Shilling (UGX) is the official currency of Uganda. However US Dollars (USD) is also accepted in certain places in East Africa. For the most part, Uganda is cash based economy; however you will be able to use your VISA or MasterCard in Certain hotels and restaurants. It is advised that you carry both USD and UGX whilst travelling around Uganda.

UGX is a controlled currency and is only available from within East Africa. Therefore, it is advised that you carry 100 or 50 USD Dollar bills to be exchanged at the official Forex Bureau upon arrival. Dollar bills must be printed 2003 or newer and unmarked. The higher the denomination of the bill the better the exchange rate. The conference Guest relations consultant will have a desk at your hotel should you need assistance.
